Chapter 8
Since my last post I have been doing much the same thing. I have seen some relatives that i have not seen for a while. Ive also had a nice Chinese meal with my friend and his family. He has got dogs and the bitch has just had six pups. One had to be put down but the others are fine. Ive been doing well at the gym. I have increased my cardiovascular work. I could not do it for a while as I hurt my knee. Over the years my training has been a lifesaver. It has kept me busy and has always been there. A friend once said to me why do you keep doing it. I said it is because it is always there. It is definately good therapy in combatting mental health issues. Even a simple thing as a walk or tidying around the house can be therapeutic. If you have not got the time or inclination to do sports you can get dvds to follow at home. You can also buy simple equipment to assist you such as dumbells and mini steppers. It will do you good if you stick at it. It is hard at first, you may ache but it is worth it. Give it a try. Take care.

Great to see you yesterday Jack - you're looking so well. Soory to hear about the pup that had to be put down. Thanks for the tips about the fitness stuff. I need to get back on it, been really slacking and you know it doesn't do me any good at all.
Hi Jack-
So glad you are taking up regular exercise. There is a lot to be said for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
I am not as healthy as I could be. Thanks for giving me some incentive. Aching bones..worth it..I guess :-)
Looking forward to 'Chapter 9' Jack.
Happy mindbloggling. Best wishes.
I like that bit about why it's important to you - "because it's always there" - I've needed things that were "always there" to keep me going over the last year - blooging has been one of those things for me. Take care - Tone
Hi Jack,
You are right of course, exercise is extremely benificial, for both mind and body.
I used to do, (and enjoy) walking quite a lot in the countryside.(also used to go to the gym 3 times a week) You obviously have the self-motivation, that I sometimes lack....I need to work on that! Kind wishes....D x
